Lyrical Dance Workshop with Audrey

Learn beginner/intermediate level choreography to “Bring Me to Life” by Evanescence on November 24 @ 10:15am with Audrey @Sky Studios! This class will feature a guided warm-up, centre work, across the floor skills, basic partner work and most importantly, putting all our new dance moves together into a choreographed number. This choreography will focus on the class working as a team to create beautiful shapes and “snapshot” moments. What do we mean by this? - You will just have to show up to find out 😉. Previous dance experience is not required. What exactly is Lyrical dance? Lyrical dance blends ballet, jazz and a little acro to create movement that expresses the emotions and lyrics of the music. What to wear? Comfortable clothes that you can move in. Lyrical dance is done barefoot, but if you would prefer to wear toe pads, ballet or jazz shoes, please feel free to do so.
