Aerial Hoop Fitness Classes Cornwall ON

Aerial Hoop

Join us for an aerial hoop class where you'll experience the beauty of aerial arts in a dynamic and supportive environment. In this class, you'll learn the fundamentals of aerial hoop (also known as lyra) techniques, including graceful poses, fluid transitions, and strength-building maneuvers while suspended in the air.

Please wear long pants for this class.

Classes Available:

Juniors (Ages 10-15)

Adults Curvy Aerial Hoop (see description below)

Aerial Hoop Choreo - Level 1 (see description below)

Introductory/Beginner:

  • New to aerials 

  • Beginner friendly 

  • No experience necessary

Beginner/Intermediate 

  • Nice to have an understanding of basics - delilah, hip hold, back straddle, man in the moon, top bar knee hang, amazon, cradle, gazelle 

Intermediate

  • Working to have all aerial mounts 

  • Knows basic moves and how to transition between them

Intermediate/Advanced 

  • Knowledge required of basics

  • Must have solid understanding of hoop 

  • Have mounts, top bar moves comfortably, amazon, cradle and variations. 

  • Knowledge of basic rolls 

  • Have back straddle comfortably, and hip holds and various entries to each 

  • Comfortable with basic strap moves

Pole Fitness

Welcome to our pole fitness class, where strength, artistry, and empowerment collide in a supportive and energetic environment. Open to all levels, from beginners to seasoned pole enthusiasts, our classes offer a dynamic blend of fitness, dance, and aerial artistry.

Please wear shorts for this class.

Classes Available:

Intro/Beginner

  • New to aerials 

  • Beginner friendly 

  • No experience necessary 

Beginner/Intermediate 

  • Nice to have an understanding of basics - pole walk, momentum spin, basic climb, pole seat 

  • Working towards invert, basics holds (scorpio,gemini, jade, butterfly), shoulder mount 

Intermediate/Advanced 

  • Knowledge required of basics 

  • Solid understanding of pole and spin pole 

  • Must have invert, butterfly, gemini, jasmine

  • Working towards aerial inverts

  • Nice to have superman but not required

Advanced​

  • Solid understanding of pole and spin pole 

  • Must have invert, butterfly, gemini, jasmine, shoulder mount, superman

  • Working towards aerial invert, ayesha

Low Flow Pole (Last Friday of the Month) (See description below)

Authentic Indoor Cycling

45-minute Instructor-led group fitness class mimicking road cycling on a specific style of stationary bike. Working on cardiovascular fitness and lower body strength, bringing the outdoors in. Personal bike setup and post workout stretch included. All fitness levels welcome. Beginner friendly!

Fitness & Strength

This fitness class is designed to help and improve your mobility, flexibility and strength while focusing on functional movements, unilateral training, bodyweight & weight training. The workouts will include a warm up, stretching, and a short cardio session to improve heart health. Progressions will also be provided to reach everyone's needs and goals and to tackle your weaknesses which will help you gain a better movement pattern. Class is open to anyone of any age!!

Open Pole/Hoop

Welcome to our Open Gym sessions—an opportunity for enthusiasts of all levels to explore, practice, and refine their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. 

This unstructured time allows individuals to create their personalized workout routines, practice specific techniques, or engage in free-form exercises under the guidance of our experienced trainers.

Staff is present to offer assistance, guidance, and tips to maximize your workout experience.

Low Flow - Pole

Welcome to our Low Flow Pole class, where fluidity, grace, and empowerment converge in a supportive and welcoming environment. 

Throughout the session, you'll explore a variety of spins, transitions, and floor work that flow harmoniously together, allowing you to express yourself creatively while building confidence and poise.

Curvy Aerial Hoop

Embrace your unique strength and grace in our Curvy Aerial Hoop class, specifically designed to celebrate and empower individuals of all body types. This inclusive and supportive class welcomes participants to explore the artistry and athleticism of aerial hoop (also known as lyra) in a body-positive environment.

Led by our experienced instructor who understand and appreciate the diversity of body shapes, this class focuses on adapting aerial techniques to suit individual needs and abilities. 

Our aim is to create a space where every participant feels confident, supported, and capable of exploring aerial arts regardless of their size or shape.

Hoop Choreo - Level 1 

Step into the mesmerizing world of aerial artistry with our Hoop Choreo class, where creativity, expression, and skill converge to create captivating routines. Perfect for beginner to intermediate aerialists, this class is designed to refine your aerial hoop (lyra) techniques while focusing on the art of choreographing beautiful and dynamic sequences.

Xtreme Step 

Xtreme Hip Hop with Phil(TM) was created in 2014 by Phillip Weeden. Classes quickly became a worldwide movement known as "the most energetic step aerobic and high intensity cardio fitness" set to old and new school hip hop. The one of a kind program makes you want to get up and move while getting a great caloric burn! This is a revamp of traditional step aerobics!

Silks (Monthly Workshops)

Each session is designed to teach fundamental techniques for climbing, wrapping, and maneuvering on the fabric. You'll learn a series of beautiful poses, spins, and drops while suspended in the air, focusing on building core strength, flexibility, and aerial artistry.

Whether you're captivated by the beauty of aerial art or seeking a challenging full-body workout, our Silks Class offers it all! 

Hip Hop Dance Class

Get moving in this FUN, Adult hip hop dance class. Led by our own Coach Amy, who loves everything dance! Whether you're looking to learn new dance moves, stay fit, or simply have fun, this adult hip-hop dance offers a vibrant and engaging outlet for self-expression and creativity. Beginner Friendly! 

Taught the first Saturday of the month. 

Packages Available: Unlimited, 2 Classes/Week, 10 Class Pass, 20 Class Pass, Grounded 10 Class Pass

Privates - Aerial or Grounded

Experience personalized fitness at its finest with our Private Fitness Sessions, tailored to meet your individual goals, preferences, and schedule. Whether you're new to fitness, aiming to reach specific milestones, or seeking a more focused and customized workout experience, our private sessions offer exclusive one-on-one attention from our experienced trainers.

Private Session of any aerial sport:

(Aerial Hoop, Pole Fitness)  - $80/hour

A customized grounded workout for your body - $60/hour

We also offer Parties!

Want something different for a birthday? Want to have a private event with your friends? Parties are a great way to try the aerial sport in a fun dynamic way. Come enjoy a fun Pole, Aerial Hoop, or a mixture of BOTH! Can also do a heels class! 


Starting Costs

60 Minutes - $150

90 Minutes - $200

120 Minutes - $250

 

Parties Start at $150 for the first hour, up to 5 people. For 6 or more people, it is an additional $16/person. A $50 deposit is required to book your party.
